I have a strange issue with my right AirPod. Somehow it won't connect whatever I try.Symptoms: both AirPods in the case: light flashes green. Apparently it's charging.Left AirPod only in case: solid green (battery status is indeed showing 100%)Right AirPod only in case: light flashes green slowly.Only the left AirPod will play sound and give the chime.

Right AirPod isn't showing up in battery's status only left one.Trying to force a reset won't work. Whatever I try, the case status light will never flash amber. No matter how long I press and hold the reset button. It will flash white though and apparently connects to iPhone.
Mar 02, 2017 How I discovered my left AirPod was bad. March 2, 2017. Tl;dr: My left AirPod had some hardware issue. I got a new one. This is not at all the same as the one available from Apple! After downloading it, open it up, and open the 'Connection Quality Monitor' (under the 'Devices' menu), as well as the 'Audio Graphs' (under the 'Tools' menu. Another advantage of using a single AirPod is that you can charge the one you're not using at the same time. When the one you're using dies, you can simply swap it with the other fully charged.
But then I get a red warning sign on the right AirPod that the AirPod didn't pair / connect. If I put the left AirPod in the case and hold the reset button it will flash white but still never amber / orange. If I put the right AirPod in the case and hold the reset button nothing happens. It will just slowly flash a green light. I've tried to remove the AirPods repeatedly from the settings menu and indeed the AirPods won't show up in th Bluetooth menu until I try to pair them again. But onlay the left AirPod will pair with the iPhone.
Tried iPad too but made no difference.I even restored network settings to factory settings but to no avail. Only thing that I can think of is that the righ AirPod fails to charge. But that's really weird because the case seems to indicate that it's charging (slow flashing green light, so apparently it makes cont with the charging case).Only other thing I can think of is that it's iCloud related. I did try to localize the AirPods because I needed to locate them in a bag after vacation.
That didn't work because the AirPods were offline and never played a sound. Maybe something went wrong there and the right AirPod is stalled because of the play sound request in find my iPhone app?
Really curious. Never had any issues with the AirPods before.iPhone 7, iOS 10.3.3, null.
Do you own a pair of Apple? Perhaps you notice that on occasion when only one works when you have both in your ear. An annoying problem but an easy solution.Note:. It is possible your non-working AirPod has corrosion from water damage. Look underneath this AirPod to see if you see any green buildup.
